YTD Average Sales Price was down in Westport (-7%), up in Weston (-1%), down in Wilton (-11%), Fairfield (-8%), Norwalk (-7%), Darien (-3.7%), New Canaan (-14.6%)  

Westport

August Property sales were 48, down -20.0% from 60 in August of 2018 and 50.0% higher than the 32 sales last month. August 2019 sales were at their lowest level compared to August of 2018 and 2017. August YTD sales of 240 are running -21.6% behind last year’s year-to-date sales of 306.

Average sale Price: $1,359,922 (-7%)

Weston

August Property sales were 17, down -15.0% from 20 in August of 2018 and -43.3% lower than the 30 sales last month. August 2019 sales were at their lowest level compared to August of 2018 and 2017. August YTD sales of 111 are running -1.8% behind last year’s year-to-date sales of 113.

Wilton

August Property sales were 30, equal to 30 in August of 2018 and -6.3% lower than the 32 sales last month. August 2019 sales were at a mid level compared to August of 2018 and 2017. August YTD sales of 165 are running 13.8% ahead of last year’s year-to-date sales of 145.

Fairfield                           

August Property sales were 77, down -20.6% from 97 in August of 2018 and -24.5% lower than the 102 sales last month. August 2019 sales were at their lowest level compared to August of 2018 and 2017. August YTD sales of 551 are running 2.0% ahead of last year’s year-to-date sales of 540.

Average sale price: $710,467 (-8%)

Norwalk

August Property sales were 62, down -11.4% from 70 in August of 2018 and -18.4% lower than the 76 sales last month. August 2019 sales were at their lowest level compared to August of 2018 and 2017. August YTD sales of 436 are running -6.6% behind last year’s year-to-date sales of 467.

Darien

August YTD sales of 208 were +7.8% ahead of last year’s year-to-date sales of 193.
