The Westport-Weston Chamber of Commerce's Restaurant Week began today, Sunday, Oct. 4, and runs through Sunday, Oct. 18, with 21 participating venues. The Chamber says on its landing page that pricing is flexible. Dan Woog put the setup plainly on 06880: "Some spots offer just lunch, others just dinner. Most serve both. Each sets its own prix fixe." Each also sets its own days. Read the restaurants' pages one by one and the two weeks turn into 21 schedules. They overlap completely on one date, and some restaurants are already halfway through their offer by the time the event reaches its midpoint.
The Fine Print That Shapes the Fortnight
Most participants post a lunch price, a dinner price, and nothing about days. A handful set limits, and those limits decide when a dinner plan can actually happen.
| Restaurant | Address | Offer | Limit posted on the Chamber page |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tutti's | 599 Riverside Ave. | Lunch $35, dinner $45 | Monday through Wednesday only |
| Romanacci | 46 Railroad Place | Lunch $30, dinner $45 | Runs Oct. 4 through Oct. 12 |
| Felice | 38 Main St. | Lunch $25, dinner $40 | Weekday lunch; dinner Sunday through Friday |
| Boathouse at Saugatuck | 521 Riverside Ave. | Lunch $25 for two courses or $32 for three; dinner $35 or $45 | Wednesday through Friday, plus a separate $35 three-course Sunday option |
| Kawa Ni | 19A Bridge Square | $25 bento lunch | Lunch only |
| Little Pub at Dunville's | 41 Saugatuck Ave. | $20 burger-and-drink special | Lunch only |
| Rive Bistro | 299 Riverside Ave. | $35 two-course lunch | Lunch only; beverage, tax and gratuity extra |
| Rizzuto's | 540 Riverside Ave. | $40 four-course tasting menu | Dinner only |
Romanacci's limit has the biggest effect. The event lasts 15 days, and the Railroad Place offer covers the first nine. Tutti's limit is the tightest on the list. Its menu page sets the offer in bold capitals, "MONDAY - WEDNESDAY ONLY," which comes to six evenings across the whole event. Pasquale and Maria Funicello, who own Tutti's with their family, appear in 06880's roundup as proud partners in the event. The early-week window is simply how this year's offer is built.
Why Wednesday, Oct. 7 Is the Date to Circle
Put those limits on a calendar and one date stands out. Today is Sunday, Oct. 4, so the event runs from this Sunday through Sunday, Oct. 18.
- Monday, Oct. 5 and Tuesday, Oct. 6. Tutti's, Romanacci and Felice all have offers running. Boathouse's weekday prix fixe hasn't started for the week yet.
- Wednesday, Oct. 7. Every restaurant with a day limit is offering its prix fixe at the same time: Tutti's in its Monday-to-Wednesday window, Boathouse on the first day of its Wednesday-to-Friday stretch, Felice on a weeknight, and Romanacci inside its Oct. 4–12 window. This happens only once.
- Saturday, Oct. 10. This is the narrowest night. Felice's $40 dinner covers Sunday through Friday, and Tutti's and Boathouse post no Saturday offer.
- Monday, Oct. 12. Romanacci's last listed day.
- Wednesday, Oct. 14. The second Wednesday brings Tutti's, Boathouse and Felice back together, without Romanacci.
- Sunday, Oct. 18. The event closes. Boathouse's separate $35 Sunday option falls on this day and on Oct. 11.
The upshot is that the first week has more going on. The second week still has 20 restaurants, and most of them post no day limits at all, but the overlapping deals fall in the front half.
Where the Tables Cluster
The participant list leans heavily toward one part of town. Six of the 21 venues sit on Riverside Avenue or just off it: Rive Bistro at 299, Boathouse at 521, Viva Zapata at 530, Rizzuto's at 540, The Bridge at Saugatuck at 541, and Tutti's at 599. Three more line Railroad Place by the train station: Tarantino at 30, Blu Olive at 36 and Romanacci at 46. Little Pub at Dunville's is a short walk away at 41 Saugatuck Ave. and Kawa Ni is at 19A Bridge Square.
Saugatuck has a lot of lunch on offer. Kawa Ni, Little Pub and Rive Bistro post lunch-only deals, and Boathouse, Blu Olive, Romanacci, The Bridge and Tutti's all post a lunch price too. That makes a weekday midday walk between the station and the river one of the easiest ways to try two or three menus over the fortnight. Downtown has its own group close together: Felice at 38 Main St., Yuzu Sushi at 43 Main St., Spotted Horse Tavern at 26 Church Lane, Zucca Gastrobar at 30 Charles St., Walrus Alley at 90 Post Road East and Finalmente at 165 Post Road East. La Plage at 260 Compo Road South, Frank Pepe's at 361 Post Road West and Dandelion at 1595 Post Road East are more spread out. Gray Goose, at 246 Old Post Road in Southport, takes part as an honorary member.
On Sunday, Oct. 18, the last afternoon of the event, Walk Bike Westport's Bridge-to-Bridge community ride starts at 3:30 p.m. on a three-mile loop to Saugatuck and back. The ride ends right before dinner in the neighborhood with the most participating tables.
First-Timers and Long-Timers on the Same List
Woog's roundup describes the range as "old favorites like Rizzuto's, Tutti's and Viva Zapata" alongside newer places. Several of those newer places opened recently enough that this is their first Westport Restaurant Week.
- Felice opened at 38 Main St. on March 2, 2026. It is the brand's first Connecticut location, and founder and managing director Jacopo Giustiniani describes it as family-owned and operated. Its $40 dinner includes starters such as passata di verdure, bruschetta or ricotta, then entrées such as tonnarelli cacio e pepe or chicken Milanese, and tiramisu for dessert.
- Yuzu Sushi held its grand opening at 43 Main St. on March 26, 2026, with Jessie Chen as an owner and John Zhang as head chef. At $55, its dinner is the highest posted dinner price this year, and it includes a choice of cocktail or martini. Lunch is $30 and comes with a mocktail and dessert.
- Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletano opened at 361 Post Road West on June 1, 2026. Its $20 lunch includes a small salad, a medium one-topping pizza and a fountain drink. The dinner price on the Chamber page still shows a question mark, so call ahead for that one.
- Dandelion, the restaurant at Delamar Westport, opened Sept. 9, 2025. Its Chamber page lists a two-course lunch for $34, with dessert as an $8 supplement, and a three-course dinner for $52.
- The Bridge at Saugatuck opened in fall 2024 at 541 Riverside Ave. The partners are chef Stephen Lewandowski, Doug Pardon and Craig Melvin. It joined the roster after the Westport Journal printed its preliminary list and posts $35 lunch and $50 dinner.
The established places put the event in terms of turnout. Chris Gonzalez, a chef at Kawa Ni, told the Westport Journal the izakaya-style pub has taken part for at least four years and sees "slightly more" business during the event. Zucca Gastrobar opened three years ago and has taken part every year since. General manager Neill Joseph put it simply:
"People come for the deals."
Matthew Mandell, the Chamber's executive director and president, set the goal in a press release: "We want people to eat local and realize Westport has the best dining scene in Fairfield County." Woog adds some history from 06880: "Just a decade ago, Fairfield's restaurants were eating Westport's lunch." He also notes there are now "way too many Westport restaurants to cram into one week."
Reading the Price Spread
Lunch prices start at $20, at Frank Pepe's and Little Pub at Dunville's, and top out at $35 at Rive Bistro, Tutti's and The Bridge. A $40 dinner is available at Felice, Zucca, Rizzuto's and Spotted Horse Tavern, though the Spotted Horse menus were still marked "tba" when posted. Rizzuto's $40 covers four courses. Tarantino charges a flat $50 for lunch or dinner. Blu Olive's $25 lunch is three courses. Kawa Ni's $25 bento comes with soup or melon, ramen, a main, dessert and a drink.
When this post went up, the Chamber's participant list linked no 2026 menu for Finalmente, Gray Goose or Viva Zapata. Those three are worth a phone call before you go.
One Address Missing From the Fortnight
Romanacci's early end date comes during a busy fall for its owners. Graziano and Maurizio Ricci closed Old Mill Grocery & Deli at 222 Hillspoint Road near Compo Beach this past week, after three years running it. Their Railroad Place restaurant stays open, and they are scheduled to open a new Italian restaurant at Heights Crossing, 346 Heights Road in Darien, this fall. Soundview Empowerment Alliance, the nonprofit that owns and helped restore the 107-year-old Old Mill building, says it is in active talks with "several strong prospective operators." No successor had been named as of Sept. 30.
The second week shares the calendar with other town events. The town-wide tag sale runs Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Oct. 18 as the rain date. Club203's Boo Bingo is at the Senior Center on Oct. 14, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Two days after Restaurant Week ends, Westport Country Playhouse opens the world premiere of Ken Ludwig's "Pride and Prejudice, Part 2: Napoleon at Pemberley," which runs Oct. 20 through Nov. 7. The Chamber notes that menus can change, and the Playhouse says the same about its dates, so confirm with each venue before you book.
