Real Estate Market Activity Reports: Westport, Weston, Wilton, Fairfield, Norwalk, Darien – through October 2018

YTD Sales (SF) through October 2018 vs. 2017 were down in Westport (-1.9%), Weston (-1.4%), Wilton (-6.2%), Fairfield (-6.9%), Norwalk (-0.7%) and Darien (-20%).

YTD Average Sale Price through October 2018 vs. 2017 was down in Westport (-6%), Weston (-6%), up in Wilton (+3%), down in Norwalk (-1%), up in Fairfield (+6%) and Darien (+1%).

 

October Property sales were 21, down -4.5% from 22 in October of 2017 and -25.0% lower than the 28 sales last month. October 2018 sales were at their lowest level compared to October of 2017 and 2016. October YTD sales of 355 are running -1.9% behind last year’s year-to-date sales of 362.

 

Average sale Price: $1,470,775 (-6%)

 

 

 

October Property sales were 8, down -33.3% from 12 in October of 2017 and -52.9% lower than the 17 sales last month. October 2018 sales were at their lowest level compared to October of 2017 and 2016. October YTD sales of 138 are running -1.4% behind last year’s year-to-date sales of 140.

October Property sales were 14, up 16.7% from 12 in October of 2017 and -39.1% lower than the 23 sales last month. October 2018 sales were at a mid level compared to October of 2017 and 2016. October YTD sales of 181 are running -6.2% behind last year’s year-to-date sales of 193.
